We are a professionally run organisation offering free email and web server chess for players of all standard.

We have been providing free email chess since 1994. Beeing always at the front end of new developments in 2002 we started to offer our server tournaments.

Jan 31 - IECG council elections

IECG has elected the new council for 2007. The elected team is Jean-Luc Duriez, Albrecht Fester (chair), Hector Mujica, Gerhard Schoenbuchner, Joop Simmelink, Ortwin Paetzold and Leif Edvin Waerstad. Reserve member is Allan Ong.

Jan 9, 2007 - Games archive updated

The IECG games archive has been updated up to December 2006 : a tremendous collection and clean up effort has been made by the archivist team. Get more detailed information and the games databases to download on the Games archive page.

IECG Cup 2005, Quarter Finals

In a few weeks IECG will start the Quarter Finals of the IECG Cup 2005.
Those finishing first or second in one of the preliminary groups are invited to participate

If you qualified for the Quarter Final and have not received an invitation by the 20th of December, please contact the Tournament Director at tdcup@iecg.org

iecg 2004 WC

Andreas Strangmüller is the 2004 IECG World Champion. Andreas won his title in tournament WC-2004-F-00001 loosing no game and finally finished the tournament with 10½ points.
