Would you like to join our Staff and to help  our activities working as Tournament Secretary?

 As you are aware, all our activities are *free* of charge, and our officials work on a volunteer basis. 
 Presently we are in need of some people to help our webmaster in our "IECG WEB PAGE IMPROVEMENT" project.
 To finish the new layout we need to rewrite our input scripts in php. Also, it's necessary to define the best way to implement all
 pages generated by our Rating Office automatically.
 If you have some background in this field, and are interested in volunteering to join the team, please contact us at <webmaster@iecg.org>, 
 include your name and brief details of your knowledge.

Deadline to confirm participation in the IECG World Championship 2012 Preliminaries, is over.

Email Groups and Server Groups will be created shortly. This event starts on February 15th and you should receive the pairing charts on February 8th. Remember that if you want to play on the server, then you MUST be registered on the Lechenicher SchachServer, otherwise your confirmation will be treated as an email registration.

Please verify the qualification table and take a look to the responses from the invited players. Let me know if you have any doubt or question, specially if you answered to my invitation and you don't see your response in the list.

After the reorganisation of our thematics tournament office IECG now announces the 25th thematic event:

After one of the toughest competitions ever seen in major IECG events Hector Walsh finally was able to secure a draw in his last game and now is the new IECG Cup winner. Congratulations Hector ! Have a look at all of his exiting games here
